Kikaflik

KikaFlik is a brilliantly simple toy that uses basic lever technology to develop coordination skills in children as young as three. Kids love KikaFlik for the FUN. Parents and therapists love the LEARNING that's packed into every kick, including hand-eye coordination, balance, timing, catching and other motor skills.

KikaFlik was developed by a gymnastics coach, who is also a pediatric nurse, to teach young children basic hand/eye and foot/eye coordination skills. The device is also recognized by therapists as having great therapeutic value and is a great aid for helping children and young adults with special needs.

KikaFlik has a very high educational and therapeutic content and helps improve gross and fine motor skills, visual tracking skills, space orientation, balance, timing, perception and sensory integration. It can be used for children with a wide range of diagnoses including Developmental Coordination Disorder, Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Downs Syndrome, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and visual perceptual difficulties.

Older kids can use KikaFlik as a trainer for baseball, tennis, soccer… in fact any sport. Depending on age and experience, a ball is either placed at the end of the KikaFlik or rolled down the timing channel. By carefully judging the moment, the child stamps on the end to send the ball flying.
